Eight men. The Eight Mirrors is a work of fiction told entirely in first person, each chapter a full confession from a different man's mouth: the flight attendant who buried his own wish to play trumpet and later crushed the same wish in his nephew; the engineer who mistook stability for a smell he manufactured for forty years; the specialist who crossed oceans to fix hearts he couldn't understand at home.
